Prior to 1997, the six founding boats of BHYC were on moorings
in the cove about 200 yards west of where the Marina is now located.
On July 6th, 1997 Dana and Mary Hunter opened Barrachois Marina.
In subsequent years the Club has taken on building and renovating our gazebo/clubhouse,
the addition of four decks which completely surround the gazebo and
providing patio furniture as well as propane barbecues for use by Yacht Club Members.
