Ondeck is all about TEACHING.  Our Charleston based Sailing Center is a US Sailing Certified school that provides students US Sailing Certification.  Courses include Basic Keelboat Instruction, Basic Cruising, Bareboat Cruising, Coastal Navigation, Coastal Passage Making, and Ocean Passage Making.  All Ondeck sailing courses are taught by experienced US Sailing Certified Instructors who take teaching seriously but understand that learning to sail HAS to be enjoyable as well.  Our students spend 95% of their time on the water – where REAL learning takes place. Our students walk away knowing how to sail confidently and with a mastery of the skills that make sailing fun for a lifetime.

Ondeck is all about CHARTERING.  With a fleet of 12-15 cruising and racing sailboats, Ondeck provides BOTH bareboat and skippered charters to both sailors and non-sailors who want to enjoy sailing Charleston’s beautiful local waters.  Ondeck’s Licensed Captains let you sail the boat if you like or just sit back and relax and let your Captain show you how awesome sailing can be. Charterscan be as short as a half-day sail, a beautiful sunset sail, or as long as your schedule/vacation allows.
