Founded in 1972, Pierpont Bay Yacht Club is located on the east end of Ventura Harbor in the Ventura Isle Marina on Spinnaker Drive. Spectacular sunsets overlooking Ventura Harbor and the Topa Topa mountains can be viewed from our second story deck. The clubhouse features a cocktail lounge with a ‘living room’ atmosphere in which members and their guests can relax and enjoy a variety of social activities and watch sports and movies on our big screen TV’s. Most functions are casual dress with the key word being FUN!
RACING
Pierpont Bay Yacht Club is a member of the Southern California Yachting Association and the United States Sailing Association. One of the highlights of the racing season is the annual Milt Ingram Trophy Race, the largest race in Ventura County. Milt’s Race was set up so that if you own a sailboat, “there’s a class for you“.
COMMUNITY
Pierpont Bay Yacht Club recognizes a commitment to our community. We support the Leo Robbins Community Sailing Center, where children of members may participate at no charge, and we also participate in the annual Caregivers Sailathon to support services for the elderly of Ventura County.
MEETINGS
General membership meetings are generally held on the fourth Saturday of each month beginning at 6:00pm. Check the club calendar as dates may vary to accommodate races and holidays.
