Business name : Sausalito Cruising Club

The Sausalito Cruising Club was founded in 1949 as a boating and social club. The club facility is a refurbished WWII ammunition barge that was acquired in 1955. It is docked at Dunphy Park within walking distance of beautiful downtown Sausalito. It has a CF number making it a true vessel.

The concrete bottom was installed in 1984 by sinking it into Richardson Bay channel and then floating the ammunition barge onto it. Once combined, the structure was then refloated and docked at its current location.

Open to club members and their guests Friday through Monday, the club provides a full service bar and restaurant as well as live music. We have nearly 500 active club members, both sailors and landlubbers alike.

The Sausalito Cruising Club is a 65-year-old non-profit yacht club with an assortment of nautical and social activities headquartered on a barge docked in San Francisco Bay. Our clubhouse is a restored World War II munitions barge docked at Dunphy Park, at the foot of Napa Street. The Club is managed by an elected, volunteer Board of Directors with the Commodore as the de facto CEO. A small paid staff runs the bar, door and galley. Volunteers man and maintain the clubhouse, docks, deck and our small fleet. We are an exceedingly friendly group of adults who enjoy boating, socializing and spending time on our decks and docks admiring the water and the views. Most of members live in Sausalito, Marin County or San Francisco.
