Der Vorstand der ESV lädt ein zur Jahreshauptversammlung am 20. Februar. Die Veranstaltung beginnt wie gewohnt um 16:00 Uhr im Restaurant des Tennisclubs “Vier Jahreszeiten”, Windmühlenweg 55, Groß-Flottbek, Nähe Elbe-Einkaufzentrum. Gegründet wurde der Bayerische Yacht-Club unter einem anderen Namen und an einem Datum mit einer Schnapszahl: am 18. August 1888 (18.8.1888). Und aus der Taufe gehoben wurde er nicht dort, wo er schon wenige Wochen später seinen Sitz haben würde, am Nordende des Starnberger Sees, sondern in einem kleinen Seepavillon in der Tutzinger Bucht.
