The Dana West Yacht Club was established in 1978 with the purpose of providing a social organization for those interested in All Things Water. Located on the island in Dana Point Harbor, we recently completed a major renovation of our clubhouse. We’ve completely rebuilt our kitchen, which serves a fantastic lunch and dinner Thursday through Monday.

The bar has views of beautiful ocean sunsets in one direction, and the harbor in the other. For those who want to keep up with their favorite sports teams, we have several large-screen TV’s. We doubled the size of our patio, and added outdoor heaters and better lighting. A floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace facing both the patio and interior give the clubhouse a warm and inviting atmosphere any time of the year. We also provide a WiFi connection, so the clubhouse is the perfect place to just hang out.

The club hosts numerous social events at the clubhouse almost weekly, including bands, dancing, Karoke nights, special brunch and dinner events, and parties for every occasion. We sponsor and participate in several charity events each year including the Leukemia Cup, Race for the Cure, and a Christmas Dinner for the Marines. In addition to our full social calendar, the club has several member groups that encompass the wide variety of the interests of our members.
