Welcome to the on-line home of the Halloween Yacht Club located in Stamford, CT. We are a group of boating enthusiasts who operate a non-profit facility in Westcott Cove. We have been a fixture on the Stamford shore line for 86 years and we currently number more than 300 members and their families.

Membership in the Club is open to all, however our berthing facilities are currently available only to Stamford residents and are assigned on a membership seniority basis. We have 134 slips and berth boats up to 35′ in length.

We have an active membership that maintains the grounds, buildings and docks. Because we are a self-help community our membership and berthing fees are reasonable. Our on water activities include fishing, sailing (racing and cruising) power boating, and kayaking. We have an active social program that includes clam bakes, parties, dinners, and holiday celebrations. We also conduct educational programs and make our facilities available to the Power Squadron and Coast Guard for teaching and safety programs.

Although we can be described as a municipal yacht club, we operate and fund Halloween independently. Our dues and fees are modest , in part because we self-manage all our activities, and in part because our members volunteer time and energy to maintain our grounds, docks and buildings. There is no cost to the City.
