Welcome to the London Bridge Yacht Club’s website. The London Bridge Yacht Club is a member organization that promotes boating and water safety on Lake Havasu. We engage in community service activities and social interaction among our members. We encourage friendship among our members anThe London Bridge Yacht Club is a non-profit organization established under the laws of the State of Arizona, consisting of approximately 70 memberships and 130 members. A separate non-profit, 501(c)(3), corporation also exists to enhance our ability to support various local charities and organizations.
The Club is a member of the Southern California Yachting Association (SCYA).
Management of the Club is the responsibility of an elected Board of Directors, which consists of seven (7) Flag Officers, three (3) Directors and the Knottie Girls Auxiliary President. For further information click on the “Officers” link.
A long-term goal of the Yacht Club is to acquire a facility on the shoreline of Lake Havasu. The Club currently maintains a clubhouse aboard a uniquely modified houseboat which is docked at the end of Pier P in the Lake Havasu Marina.
The women of the Club are organized into a women’s auxiliary known as the Knottie Girls.
The Club acts as coordinator for the Lake Havasu Boat Parade of Lights which is a two night event consisting of a Friday Parade Dress Rehearsal followed by the full parade on Saturday. It usually occurs on the first weekend in December. Our traditional “Opening Day” for the boating season is combined with a gala boat parade through Bridgewater Channel. The Events/Activities page within our website provides a glimpse into our Club and additional details about our various events.d involvement to improve our community. We invite guests to join us in these endeavors. We also have a charities division, London Bridge Yacht Club Charities, Inc., which is made up of the same members and board of directors as the club itself. The charities division supports many worthwhile causes, both in service and through financial contributions.
