Masons Island Yacht Club’s property and facilities are for the exclusive use of its members and invited guests.
The Club is open every day from sunrise to sunset from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and at other times for special occasions.
All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on Club premises. Children under 10 must be supervised at all times while playing on the dock, swingset or playscape. MIYC Facilities
The Club facilities include a four-season Clubhouse which includes a main Clubhouse meeting room, a commercial kitchen, restroom facilities, and a wrap-around porch, a portion of which is covered. The Clubhouse is available for rent in the off-season by Club members.
A bathhouse includes separate dressing room, shower, and restroom facilities for men and women, and a series of private lockers that can be rented by members. To be added to the waiting list for locker rentals, please email the Webmaster.
Boating facilities include a main dock with electricity and water. The dock is for member and guests day-time use. A finger-pier floating dock for small boat storage, and a number of outhaul moorings for dinghy storage are available.
Four boat moorings, located within 100 yards of the main dock, are maintained for overnight stays of larger boats for a nightly fee. MIYC enjoys a reciprocity arrangement with other Yacht Clubs, so that members of other Yacht Clubs are allowed use of the overnight moorings should they need a friendly place to stop for the night. If you are visiting for the night, please contact the Club Manager as soon as you arrive.
The Club has a boat ramp to launch smaller boats, as well as an on-shore storage area for small boats.
Swimming facilities include a large roped-in swimming area off the northern side of the main dock which includes access stairs and a swimming raft. A small sandy beach provides a place for small children to perfect their swimming skills until they are ready for the “deep-end”. No life guard is on duty, so swimmers and their parents are responsible for their own safety.
MIYC maintains three tennis courts: two with Har-Tru surfaces and one asphalt court. Members are recommended to call ahead for court reservations.
There are two professional-quality grass Bocce courts.
