St. Croix Yacht Club

Way back in the 1930s, competitive sailing on St. Croix started to develop when a friend of Anton Teytaud (a founder of the St. Croix Yacht Club) built a Snipe from plans published in Rudder Magazine. Nanoose Power and Sail Squadron

Much like a board of directors, the Nanoose Power and Sail Squadron has an executive team to help keep the organization running smoothly. Made up of volunteers, each Officer has an area of responsibility, and some have additional volunteer committees for special projects. The Bridge meets monthly on the first Wednesday of each month, except June and July.  Meetings are held 7:00 at the Nanoose Library Hall. Ladner society was based in 1958 and is found next to the core of Ladner Village on the Fraser watercourse. The dockage basin is owned by the club and accommodates a hundred vessels.
