Dear Sailing Friend,

Are you an “old salt?” You will find lots of experienced cruisers and racers in our midst. Are you new to San Diego or to sailing? SDCatA is a great place to learn all kinds of technical things about our boats; as well as, local knowledge, racing skills, cruising, navigating, currents, weather, oceanography, ocean life…you name it. Our group is eager to share our experiences and knowledge with you.

For your convenience, a link to the membership application is at the bottom of this page. Annual dues for the San Diego Catalina Association are $30 – a fantastic bargain! Events will be announced at our monthly meetings and in our monthly electronic newsletters.

We meet at 7:30 PM at the South Western Yacht Club in Point Loma. Please check the Events Calendar for the meeting dates. Often we gather informally prior to the meeting for drinks and/or dinner at the club.
