SYC is located in downtown Long Beach California, Shoreline Yacht Club is a California Yacht Club in the center of Southern California’s most active boating venue. From our clubhouse within the newly reconstructed marina, members actively host a busy Cruising and Racing schedule, a burgeoning Junior Sailing program, Angling and Diving events, and other on the water activities.

We are involved in the community as well, preparing a pancake breakfast for 600 to 700 of the marina community and public each Fourth of July, organizing a themed dinghy parade on the Fourth, sponsoring and leading the annual downtown Christmas boat parade (Parade of a 1,000 lights), and hosting other yacht clubs, city, and community activities at our facility.

The City of Long Beach and the Downtown Shoreline Marina have become a premier cruising destination for Southern California boaters. Within walking distance are many fine restaurants, shops, theaters, the Aquarium of the Pacific, and the Long Beach Arena and Convention Center. Long Beach Transit provides free shuttle service to the Queen Mary and within the downtown core.
