Kapsejlads er en vigtig del af klubbens aktiviteter, og vi gør en dyd ud af, at vores sejlladser bliver afviklet efter reglerne, og i overensstemmelse med godt sømandskab. Vi sejler efter Dansk Sejlunions handikap reglement, og vi kræver derfor et gyldigt målerbrev, for at båden kan deltage. På bestyrelsens og egne vegne vil jeg ønske alle klubbens medlemmer og andre med tilknytning til klubben en glædelig jul og et lykkebringende nytår. 2015 blev på mange måder det jubilæumsår vi havde ønsket. For tiden foregår der en udskiftning af de tekniske installationer ved det danske kystradionet, herunder af radioudstyr. Når de nye installationer sættes i float, vil antennepositionerne være de samme som hidtil, men visse VHF-arbejdskanaler vil være ændret. Sæsonen 2014-2015 bestod af et dejligt stort hold. Det var nødvendigt at benytte alle bordene i klubhuset, og der måtte sidde 3 personer ved flere af dem. Det kan være en udfordring med de store undervisningskort, vi benytter til at måle og tegne kurser på.
