Im Dezember 1973 gründete Wolfgang Bente den Bordesholmer Segelverein, Der Verein hatte anfangs keine eigene Steganlage direkt am See. In den ersten Jahren waren wir Gastlieger am Steg des Angelvereins. 1980 konnte der BoSV umziehen in die Eidersteder Strasse auf ein Pachtgrundstück. The Northern Alberta Sailing College (NASC) is a not-for-profit sailing school that instructs on Lake Wabamun in conjunction with the following Sailing Clubs. NASC is accredited to teach the CANSail course curriculum developed by Sail Canada in accordance with their Long Term Sailor Development Plan. The CANSail levels reflect skills that sailors have achieved.
